The European project WorkINC promotes a more inclusive and diversity-conscious approach to vocational training and career placement pathways.
The initiative is specifically aimed at VET (Vocational Education and Training) trainees and apprentices, as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to promote safe and inclusive learning environments that value the skills and talent of young people.
A project for trainees and enterprises
Through WorkINC, young people involved in VET programs can benefit from a safe work environment that respects diversity, increased support and guidance during their apprenticeship, and opportunities to develop both technical and transversal skills.
Concurrently, the project offers SMEs training materials and tools, resources to promote inclusion and training opportunities for tutors, mentors and company trainers, to enhance their capacity to support young people throughout their professional path.
Promoting inclusion means establishing conditions for all young people to develop their skills and face the school-to-work transition with greater awareness and preparation.
